Wills

It is important you have a valid Will. If you die without a valid Will, the job of processing your estate can be more complicated and burdensome than it needs to be for your surviving family members.

Ordinarily, both a marriage and a divorce order will render a Will invalid (unless specifically expressed otherwise).

If you are one of our family law clients, we will consider with you the terms that you will require for your Will. We can prepare a Will for you that is relatively simple and straight forward. In the case of complex testamentary trusts and trust structures that will require estate planning advice we can refer you to lawyers who practice in that area.
