Toni graduated from the University of Otago (NZ) in 1991 with a LLB (Hons) and BA (History). She was admitted to the Bar in 1993.
After graduating, she assisted a NZ Queen’s Counsel working on challenging criminal cases including appellate Court work.
Toni then worked in various roles for the NZ Police, and later joined the Crown Solicitors Office, representing the Crown in various prosecutions. In 2003, Toni spent 18 months seconded to the UN to work as part of a team on international fisheries fraud.
Toni moved to Perth in 2008 and began working in exclusively Family Law. She joined DCH in November 2009. Toni has in-depth and valuable experience working with clients and, when necessary, Counsel and Senior Counsel on a wide range of financial and child-related matters including complex litigation, and issues which cross other jurisdictions. She also acts as an independent child lawyer.
Toni enjoys keeping fit, travel, reading, film, walking her two French bulldogs and working in her garden. Toni is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Western Australia and the Law Society of Western Australia.
